Using the BorderConnect Integration
The BorderConnect Integration allows for a quick and easy way to get your dispatch/shipment information across to your border crossing locations.
Installing BorderConnect
- Head to the Pegasys Marketplace via the gears icon in the top right.
- Scroll down to 'BorderConnect', and click Install
- You will be prompted to enter your BorderConnect API key which you can obtain from the BorderConnect team.
Using BorderConnect
- Open the dispatch that you would like to submit.
- Click the More button along the top right hand corner.
- You will now see two button to submit your ACE and ACI . Follow the guide to transmit your manifests!
- Once you have gone through the prompts you will be presented with a status box. This will show your logs real-time coming back from BorderConnect. You will also receive live notifications coming back into Pegasys and ultimately your inbox (if enabled).
Adding a Border Crossing location
Every dispatch is going to require a Border Crossing stop on your route plan.
Upon installing BorderConnect you will see a new prompt under your route plan for Add Border Crossing
- Open the dispatch record that requires a border crossing location
- Scroll down to your dispatch stops
- Click Add Border Crossing
- Select the location where your driver is crossing. ACE (USA location) ACI (CA location)
- Enter the date/time when your driver is crossing
- Click save!
